I am just curious. As someone who uses both a mac and a PC (iBook and a Vaio) Which platform do you prefer. And if it is too bold to ask, why? Sorry if this is a repost, and please don't turn this into a super PC vs Mac flame. I may sell one of my systems and I would like to know what you think the best one is for creating (mainly) Flash projects.

this is a sore point (usually and all too easily)

Fact is::
they both work quite well and it is pretty much a matter of preferrence... I have one of each at my desk and it's really a matter of .....
which are you most comfortable with ?

yeah i feel that they are bolth awsome but this is my view.

I like my Mac more than my PC, it just feels more sleak and everything. But i own studio and what not for my PC so i use that. so i use both. its just preference. if you have it for one, use it, if you have it for the other, use that.

You can't keep saying that though. Things change. People's opinions change. Mac is moving forward. Windows is losing credibility... well moreso than before... well thats hard to measure ;) but with MS tightening its grip, Apple moving to BSD and coming out with the G5, things are up in the air right now and can change fairly easily.

I still like my PC over any Mac, but I like Macs a hela lot more than I used to.

I love mac's and PC's.

I use a pc for 98% of my work but I did go to school and learn GD on a Mac so they have a special place in my heart :love:

the thing is - mac's are too expensive for the every day user, I would love to have one, espically one of their laptops but I just dont have that kind of money.

I am totally a PC Guy.. Why pay so much for a mac when you can build a PC twice as good (well, maybe not twice as good =D) with half the money (that one isnt a joke) And I dont meen to seem like a jerk, but most people having TONS of trouble with windows usually buy some crappy HP, Compaq, etc computer that they dont even manage properly. If you build your own PC with proper parts you should be perfectly fine. From my experience with macs they were not all that stable anyway.. It was at school though and everything at school seems to be 1/2 as good as it should be. I edited a short movie on an iBook and was very pleased with its performance though. I wouldnt say that I HATE macs, but the extendability with PCs, the gaming aspects with PCs, the all around customization with PCs is just more what I am in to.

MAC'S ALL THE WAY!!!

especialy with the new os10 upgrade! It distributes the memory evenly into each app. alowing you to run like 10 programs and not crash!!! my computer hasent crashed since I ever got os 10!

And again! Mac's RULE!!!!
