As some of you may know, there is a pirated version of the new Windows Office Suit going around the internet as of 5am this monrning - its the final build and is said to be complete. Here is a link to a site that has some screen caps of the interface for each of the products.

I do not condone "pirating" or whatever but screenshots are screenshots and I thought many would find this interesting.

you know, i hope microsoft one day stops beautifying their products and instead make them better. i don't care much for the bubble buttons and those unnecessary styles.

thanks for the link though.

Yeah, what's the deal with their stupid rounded corners and that hideous blue and green colour scheme. wtf is that? I hate it..! I don't even refer to Xp as XP, I like to called it Windows: Fisher Price Edition™ - it's just ****ing hideous and they've over-simplified it for all the p30n computer users that have trouble switching PCs on :-\

Oooo looky! It's Windows for Dummies! :sure:

Well FrontPage 2003 looks really nice :beam: I keep XP on classic mode so I don't see any rounded edges or anything. The bubbly look is pretty annoying, but you can use programs like stylexp to customize the interace to your liking =)

I just don't like what they've done with it... which is why I'm still on w2k... in fact.. I'm not sure my pc is powerful enough to run Fisher Price Edition™ just yet... :thumb:

It could use some appearacne but i don't like the color scheme... I hope that can be changed...

They usually can. I think the new Windows Media Player 9 includes a color scheme changing icon that allows you to cycle through a ton of color combinations. I'm hoping that's the way all MS products will be headed in that direction.

Asphalt - biased? Absolutely! :beam:

The first thing I did when I got my first winXP machine (which was yesterday :) ) I spent half an hour making it look like my old win2k machine. :P Although getting networking to work properly took a bit longer and some cussin' ;) I just dont like the fact that it would not let me set up networking on my own, it kept taking me to a networking wizard. So I ended up going into the registry and setting things up myself. :)

Cheers!

I've got XP on two out of my three home PCs. The other is 2K (I'm thinking about building a DOS machine too, so I can run the really old stuff, but...).

It's OK. I won't say it's great beause it's not. There's one or two things that I like about it, but there's a lot that irritates me. :sure:

do what i did and find an old harddrive and install Windows 98 on it then dual boot it from your computer alongside your more powerful XP.

I can't get enough of my classic DOS/BASIC games and those that won't run on my Nazi XP machines =)

Looks like the same darn thing as my office XP is now!

A little ... "nicer" perhaps. I know there are some changes to outlook, but still ... it seems to be - how do you say - not worth buying if you ask me.
