What the hell is this?
from Colin Moock mailing list...

/**
* EMERGENCY: YOUR SITE NEEDS A POLICY FILE NOW!
*/
If you host Flash content that does any of the following, you need a
cross-domain policy file on your site immediately:
* loads XML or variables
* controls loaded movies
* connects to an XMLSocket server

If your site does not have a cross-domain policy file, visitors using Flash
Player 7 to view your Flash Player 6 format .swfs will now see a security
alert dialog!

To create a policy file for your site, follow the steps posted here:
http://moock.org/asdg/technotes/crossDomainPolicyFiles/

(Yes, this all applies to every client site you ever delivered.)

/**
* flash player 7 released
*/
the new flash player 7 has also gone live. get it here:
http://www.macromedia.com/go/flashplayer/

for the record, the first flash player 7 is version 7.0.14.0. it was
released on sept 9/2003. the windows internet explorer version weighs in at
a svelt 466kb, while the windows netscape plugin is 643kb.

yeah that sucks :trout:

If you have Flash Player 7 installed & go to, let's say, www.disney.com, a little sexuirty box will pop-up asking to "accept or deny" kinda thing...
