Flash Charting

Aight, Ive got this charting software that we use that generates a jpg on the fly but it is crap and I want to redo something like it in Flash. Attached is an image of what the current 1 looks like. Any ideas or code to help me get started?

Well building something like that would probably be pretty straighforward. I don't know what the values there represent but what I would do is just make a bunch of instances of those lines of length .1 or something and then expand their width during runtime to whatever value you need. Can you explain a little more about what that is?
