Nice but you're going to spend a hell of a lot of time updating this bad boy... Have you discussed possible upkeep costs with the client? Also, it's a little trendy for a kennel, ie.. the wires etc...

Overall, nice design and layout, quick and clean.

i like the machined steel look, it fits well with the site's name.

however, while the wires are cool, i don't really see how that fits with a dog breeding company.

that being said, i dont know if this is just for the layout that you're doing this, but the site is much to image-heavy. it takes a long time to load the main content of each page since it's purely image-based.

also, i'd try to use a different background color for the site than white, since your cool navigation seems to get segregated from the rest of the page by the gaping negative space that the background creates. try using something more closely matching the greys and metallic (careful) tones used in the metal above.

also, your logo is a bit too large for the page, it takes up too much space and attention, and your client may be unhappy with that. consider creating a vector or pixel alternative logo that looks clear at small sizes to leave your mark on sites you create.

Yea updating is gonna be hell...
These people own like 20 dogs...!
I think I chose the wiring because I wanted to "mount" the navbar somehow. This was also an easy way to add a little color.
Thanks for the nice comments and suggestions.
My plans were to create an elaborate "index" page, then some sub-pages that I could update quickly. If you look at dog breeders sites, they all seem pretty basic, and boring. I need to make the viewers say WOA!! BUT also be able to update very quickly.

Any more feedback will be appreciated!

It looks like you just figured out how to do a drop shadow, and put it on everything...

try using different layers of color instead of shadows...

have you thought of using HTML in places where you want to update frequently? You've used images in places where you could save a bunch in file size, just by using HTML, and it would look more crisp. I was taught to never used scanned text (or PS text) unless absolutely necessary, as in logos, etc.
