I have a few questions.
When you create a mesh, say a gradient mesh, through: Object > create gradient mesh>
Is there a way to keep it a color, because it automaticaly switches to a black and white gradient.
Also, when It is a mesh, is there a way to select multiple points within a mesh, apart using the shift key? (like is there some sort of drag-select?)
Thanks

Hey RB
if you have Illustrator 10, there is a selection tool with a loop on it on your tool bar, "Direct selection lasso tool" or press Q on your keyboard (it looks like a lasso with a white pointer), with this tool you can make a lasso selection (click and draw) around the point you would like to colour or manipulate.

I assume your have placed a gradient on the shape before applying a gradient mesh, this will turn black or to default, place the strongest colour (the colour most used) first as a solid, create gradient mesh, and that colour should stay just manually put the other colours you would like.
:: i'll see if there is another way to keep your gradient.
