We’re looking for an exceptionally talented ActionScript or Flex developer to join a highly creative San Francisco boutique advertising firm.
This role would involve collaborating on interactive online projects both on the frontend and backend. You will work under guidance of AS3/Ruby developers with a strong focus on online marketing and ecommerce applications, as well as bringing static banner and landing page design comps to life in flash.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified candidates will have 5+ years experience with Object Oriented Programming languages, databases and remoting. Complete fluency with the Flash authoring environment is essential as well as a very basic understanding of Photoshop. Enthusiasm to work in a team and educate colleagues on best practices and preferences as well as disposition to learn and adhere to agency best practices is key!
SKILLS:
# Strong OOP experience
# Comprehension of design patterns
# Experience with MySQL and/or other database types like ORD
# Some experience using CS programs will at times be necessary
# Experience working with various online ad design specs and media requirements
# Excellent understanding of user experience issues
# Ability to self-manage projects and work within time deadlines
# Team oriented, self-motivated
