Boxing & Tequilla

So we were at a bar that has monday night fights. So I signed up.. what the hell. I think my first mistake was the tequilla shots before the fight. Not good hydration liquid.

Holy crap, boxing is very hard. I wanted to quit after the first round. I'm still out of breath.

I got a nice little trophy and a video of me fighting. I think I was more scared to stand in front of all those people then to fight a stanger.

Asphalt, Yes but first I have to find someone with a vcr that I can get the video off of. Do they still make VCR's?? Then I will add better punch sounds and rocky music. It will be a fantastic film.

When I was in college, we used to have boxing tournaments and each year, after it was over, I would begin dreading the next year. If you lose, your neck and face hurt, but if you win, your back, arms, and hands hurt worse. There's no way out! Plus the physical exhaustion... we only went 3 x 1:00 rounds and it was enough so that I usually threw up. UGH! But in the midst of it, you land that punch where you can see the guy's eyes lose focus and his hands drop, and you feel good.

Yeah I won. My hands, arms and back are sore.

I could never be a figher though. There were a few times I slipped an uppercut between his arms and know I blasted him right in the face. Instead of following up with a barage of blows to the head I would pause and almost feel bad like... sorry... did that hurt?

I guess I'll havee to go back to being a lover instead of a fighter.

WOW ethan, you know how to box? Maybe I should try that sometime. I bet it gratifying! Even if you loose? er.... uhm... your not in a "fight club" are you? :)
