I want this game. When I have the money for it I'm going to buy a gamecube just so I can play as link. I wanna buy it for my PS2 soon. Someone wanna give it to me?:beam:

I have yet to try this game - except for in the store on a demo box.

I am not a huge fighter fan so I havent picked it up yet but I have to say - Link looks amazing. Makes we wonder what he could have been on the cube. Although now it makes me want the next gen version of Zelda that much more :D

I guess I am a video game whore.

I'm not a big fan of fighter games, I'm more a EA Sports kinda person, but playing this game with other people is almost irresitable.

I like fighting games. Current all time favourite has to be Streetfighter, but MKDA is pretty awesome. :)

Oh man! ... Streetfighter is one of my all time favorite games even though I'm not huge on the fighting genre.

I had so much fun with that game as a boy :) I may have to rekindle that passion now ... (goes to Amazon.com)

I did have more versions, but I sold them a while back. Might have to hunt round Game and Cex, see if I can find them again (not my copies obviously, just the games ;) )

I had the first soul caliber for DC and that game rocked! I'm not very excited about SCII though and will most definately rent it but I don't think ill be buying it. It's possible though

You lot should try Guilty Gear X or X2, its the best 2D fighter on the PS2. It plays similarly to SF, and has nice anime graphics :)

The game is cool but somewhat not as impressive as Soul Calibur on DC the first one blew everyone away maybe because it was a real technological leap nowadays it jsut another fighter with more characters added to the roster i got the xbox version and Spawn kicks @zz Link would get his butt kicked by Spawn anyday oh and Spawn will make Link cry jsut by cursing at him like he does in teh Xbox version lmao,

ANd for the record my favorite fighting game is Mrvel vs Capcom 2 now talk about the best street fighter game ever i just wish capcom went ahead and make capcom all stars all capcom characters in a fighting game makes me excited too bad it got canceled :*(

I like them. I'm pretty rubbish at driving games (bodes well for the MG, huh?), but RPGs and beat 'em ups, that's another story. :)

I played the first Soul Calibur and I liked it well enough to want to try the second. :) Generally I play all my fighting games on the PlayStation so I'll be getting that version, but MKDA works better on the XBox. As long as I have one of the smaller Japanese pads, because otherwise my hands are too small and I can't reach the buttons properly. :blush:

Actually, what I want is to turn eCommerce into something much more 'New Media', give myself my own office and make a recreational area with games machines and consoles in to 'relieve stress', but we don't always get what we want. :)

Soul Calibur 2 doesn't appear to be out yet over here, though if I'm wrong please correct me. I saw signs for pre-ordering though...

Interestingly enough, I went to visit our "E-House" location the other day. This is the central inter and intra net development center for our company. In the "break room" There is a 50" TV with a bunch of consoles hooked up to it, and a foosball table. One other interesting thing I found out was that the soda machines were cheep there to... like 75% cheeper than in my building. Guess you need to keep web programmers hopped up on caffene. Maybe I should transfer there... I can see it now... "Hey we are having problems with the server!!!" "I wil be there when I am finished with this boss fight, settle down..." On second thought that may not be a good idea. =)

Super Smash Brothers Melee and Windwaker are the reasons to own a gamecube. Mainly because SSBM is the greatest game ever made. I have something like 3000 hours played on it. Yeah, I get bored a lot. We did the math and it worked out my friends and I payed less than 1 cent per match. Pretty good deal if you ask me. The 4 of us went through something like 12 controllers in 6 months. Yeah its a good game.

Xbox's controller has a little strange feeling to it. I dunno why, I guess I'm just used to the awesome PS controllers which fit your hand so nicely. I must say, though, I have yet to play a better game than Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 on the Xbox ... that game is awesome!

i went nuts after i did that mission on alcatraz where you have to pick up those 33 (was it?) things around the entire place, so i set the game down for a while.

that's the point, ONLY a handful of games. I mean i love anything related to Metroid and Megaman but that's why the Super Nintendo existed. I like 3d and all but 3D games don't have the Depth of a 2D game playing Playing Super Metroid took forever! but the Fusion one is not the same in hardness, i can beat metroid Fusion in 3 days while it takes 3 months to beat Super Metroid. the command centers in Fusion ruin the fun of searching relentlessly thoughout the Hallways and alleys and such making a Fictional game feel more realistic.

Yeah i don't like the Manufactured Controller from xbox, Rather i whould use my Favorite 3rd party Controller, MAD CATZ that is so confortable, it's a regular xbox controller with cusions and the start and select buttons are erecting outward much easier to reach other then the XBOX manufacture controllers where you need a fingernail just to press them

I just wish they'd made the XBox pad a little bit smaller. I can barely reach all the controls since my hands are quite little. :sure: I've got one of the smaller Japanese ones though, which aren't as bulky, so I have the new one and whoever I'm playing gets the orignal. :)

I just don't get it, why are 3rd party controllers actually BETTER then microsoft made controllers when it comes to XBOX. I think that Microsoft incorperated should consider looking into the model made by Mad Catz it's so much more confortable and it's the only one i whould ever use.

one question about this game, on gc, when i'm on vs battle, what are those "weapons" in the bottom-left of the screen??

you get weapons as you play thought the game for ex. Link can hold a Hammer, a different sword and i forgot the other 2 or 5 or idk how many. You unlock them as time passes. was that helpful?

nah you can't well, you can but that's for link only which can go from a Sword to a Bow and Arrow at will but for all i know that's it
