Ok, so I'm reading this thread from the swish-tuts forum where daisy posted and got flamed over here or something retarted and the next page is this (like 3 down)...

The first post is from a guy named maverick with aviator shades on and someone says, "I guess Maverick was the "Top Gun" in school" and the kid doesn't get it. Maybe I'm the only one who saw the complete obsurdity in this one. (Well, the brits may not get it, nothing but monty python and red dwarf on the island.)

ohhhh. thats not why my name is maverick acctually i never thought about it that way.. its maverick cause thats what i used when i played computer games online and top gun was my fav movie

Either this kid is really stupid and just plain blowing smoke up everyone's butt, or he had a big time brain fart on that one!

Dude, don't talk about Goose ... I cired when he died in that movie. To this day, I still get choked-up about it :(

Top Gun is a great flick - one of Tom's best by far. I just bought the dvd not too long ago - I found it for like 12.99!

... can I get an explaination for a person who doesn't use camp as an adjective? I hope it doesn't mean anything like sucky. Top Gun is off the chain, and Goose is the man.

Sweet, half of my dvd collection could only be classified as such.
