yeah, I quite like it... it could do with a little more movement, although I like the transitions.
Also, it might be worth seeing if you could optimize the splash more, as it took me a while to load, even on broadband :)

thanks, but its quite difficult to reduce the quality of the splashpage because then the quality of the picture would go down dramatically... its now 50 kb big, dont think thats very big...

mmh, make the 'enter' button more obvious - i clicked on 'flash6' cause I thought it would lead me to the flash site) and got to macromedia.com...
maybe increase your frame rate a bit ? (either it's lower than 20fps or my computer was thinking a bit too much)
nice, but lacks a bit of 'interactivity' and movement, sparkling stuff and Cie.... =)

I admit, it was a little confusing when I first saw the "splash" page. I didn't know where to click.
The main thing to keep in mind about =web design is, "don't make me think." If your visitors need to think about how they need to navigate the site and all, where the buttons are, where the buttons will take them, you've failed as a web designer.
I think you did alright with that part, but I'd like to see the boxes down the bottom, the site itself, be bigger for sure. You have small little areas of content, then this huge background. It's cool that you can change the background picture and all. Wishing I was that cat right about now too :)
Overall, nice looking site, nice functionality to it, you just should consider making the content more "visible" if you know what I mean.

Not bad, one note. The boxes (news, shoutbox etc) can all be open at the same time, i duno if thats how you want it but i think it would be nicer if when you have a box open and you click another box the first box closes. Thats what i did with the submenus on my site.
