Hey everyone,
Just wanted to tell you all that HTML tags have been disabled. For almost all your HTML-like needs, vB Codes exist, and if you can't seem to find a vB tag for what you need, feel free to post here and I will create one

Security risks primarily. You can edit your footer using vB codes for IMG, URL, etc.

The FAQ page includes a good number of them: http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/misc.php?s=&action=bbcode
EDIT: Yes, fonts and other related information can be added using the [font] tag.

For clarification to others, vB is not Visual Basic, it's vBulletin - these tags are a whole lot simpler to use than HTML. Really! :azn:

well, diabling html kinda gets rid of flash footers - thats really my main concern. Is there a vB code peice for that?

No it doesn't get rid of Flash footers. See!
There is an SWF tag for that. Check the Forum Help section for the code needed to add a Flash footer the proper way.

Yeah, in some cases vbCode tags are quicker/easier to type than the HTML tags and in other cases you just replace the < and > with [ and ]. There really isn't any HTML that you would need to use that you can't find in the vbCode tags.
And as kirupa stated, if you think of something that isn't in a vbCode tag but you would like to be, then simply address the idea to him and he will add it (if he finds it good enough to be added).
