Sound extraction!!!

i need some help gettin the sound from an mpeg file, just need it as a wav or mp3 file.

i am wondering why everyone else gets responses and not me... i know its been up for about an hour, or maybe two but still there are alot of people on and posting and im sure someone could point me in the right direction

get a microphone.
startup Sound Recorder found in your friendly Start Menu
Hit Record/
then really really fast open up the mpeg file and start playing.

and ladies and gentlemen we have a WAV.
