dude, that's not distortion, they rendered that in a 3d program - it's all about camera angles :)

yup - notice the reflection - no can do in PS...

but any 3d prog will do that easily - probably even swift 3d (although I don't have it...)

yeah swift is the easiest way to get that done. In PS it will be a lil difficult

well its not that bad eilsoe but of course it needs more ligth and some 3d effect. but i thought it could be done with photoshop. :m:
but i don't want to jump to 3d programs rigth now i want to learn photoshop a little more.

well, to comfort you a little, text like that isn't THAT hard to do in a 3d proggy, so don't sweat too much over it :)

u just stick to photoshop, maybe you'll make a better attempt at fake 3d than me some day! :P

in swift this effect may take about 5 minutes to make. I would go that route for the quick fix. But to do in photoshop may be better in a long run since you will learn a bunch of stuff in between
