Does anyone know how I can define a custom project type in Eclipse? I want to provide an option to start a Google Wave Robot project - there are 3 or so XML files and a full file structure that must be provided for each Robot project, not to mention additional library .jar files.

I already have 2 robot projects with this whole file structure so I can provide a directory which acts as a prototype in a sense for this project, but I have no idea how to tell eclipse to define a project and allow me to define certain parameters. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Can you just keep a copy of your "skeleton" project somewhere and when you need to set up a new one... copy it to a new location and import it into eclipse?

I could, and I have done that a couple times already, but it requires changing multiple fields over multiple XML files. I would really like to extend the project creation wizard so that I can just enter all of these values into a single concise form. Also, I need to get a few other people working with robots who are not as knowledgeable as I am, and I think changing these files might be a hang up for them.

I know there is a way to do this, but I think it might require a bit of work...from what I've read, I think I need to actually code up a new wizard system....

You need to set up custom perspective (if I'm not misunderstanding).
If there is google wave plugins for eclipse copy it to the plugins folder.
Then features plugin to the features folder.
Then under windows from the menu bar choose -> Open Perspective -> Other -> then the google wave project option must be present.

Click that and you are done.
So you can have under File -> New -> select the project.
Now you have the menu based stuff.

I think that's what you wanted.

Id like to have custom printed cocktail napkins made for part of a Christmas gift. Does anyone know of a website that offers this at a reasonable price.?
