Design Battle: Kirupa b0x0rs! :D

Roll up! Roll up, my fellow kirupians! in connection with this thread: http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33678&perpage=20&pagenumber=2 - I'm putting forward the idea of designing a pair of Kirupa.com boxer shorts! :thumb: this will be a fun battle - nothing serious - hopefully we'll get lots of entries :D

someone can create a simple template to represent the front and back of the boxers and then you can set to work! imagine if tehre were being sold on cafepress? :) if you were going to buy a pair of kirupa.com boxers, what would you want to see on them? well now you can decide! It has to be kirupa (the guy, not the site) related!

Any art program? (I'll put together a simple template tomorrow ;))

Opinions? Time limit? Suggestions - please! post them!

Btw, the creator of the winning entry, if they want to, can create a free shop at http://www.cafepress.com to sell the boxer design on a boxer for everyone to purchase.

I'll be more than happy to link the product on the site with any profits made going directly to you.

count me in. depending on hwo many ppl sign up, i think that you should be allowed like 2 or 3 entries, if tis only a few. otherwise if it's a lot, then, only one.

also, i think the design should also be availble in thongs for the ladyfolk.

yeah.. maybe two? that at least allows a bit of variety.. depends how many people vote as well though - could end up with LOADS of entires, each getting one each..

i think up to 2 entries each is fair. Opinions?

ok, well how about this. you run the boxer battle, ill run the thong battle. you can make the boxer template, ill do the thong one. and then winners will be picked for each (could be the same, or a different person) and then, both winners can be featured on the cafepress site, (if that is agreeable with kirupa).

If you're using Cafepress the designs will be limited, you can only have white, and only have a small square image on the right hand side.

just do a battle and ignore the cafepress thing? then do another battle specifically for a piece of cafepress clothing? or just drastically change this battle? :sure:

good point soul. how bout this. winners can get their designs posted on a little shop site, and then when there are enough orders, we can get a bulk order of them from a printer.. it will probably be cheaper then cafepress anyway.

I did one in Fireworks.. but it was really bad - Would be grateful if someone could come up with something really simple, but looks respectable and includes plenty of room to draw on :)
