Again, line art is from www.bakaneko.com.


This time I used both cell shading and gradient shading techniques.

so, any thoughts?

How do you guys do this "art"

you draw it by hand first then add it in photoshop7 and color it ?
or u draw it in the pc.
is there tutorials about this ?

Maybe you can add a tutorial in your new site tutorial page.

The shading/blending is great!

You need to whip up a tutorial for your method like Kit did with hers =)

Thats totally sweet... However, while I do hate to be negative, the shadows on the ground are a bit.... :sigh:

But the rest is totally awesome. Certainly way better than anything I can do.

Actually I do have to agree with morse there, I didn't even notice those shadows ont he ground until now, and the shadows on your characters seems to have the light source coming from the right (your right), but the shadows on the ground seem to appear to have the light source coming from the left (your left) or even above.

look, fellas, I was focusing on the figures :sure:


the ground shadow is just a few strokes, nothing to look at :)


disregard the ground shadow, that's not what I'm showcasing here :P
