what do you all think?
things still to do:
find a better, more readable color for the text (any suggestions?)
tweak the alignment just a bit
take pictures to put on the site
any other suggestions/comments?
btw, i did this really quick, so don't be too harsh :)

Ow my eyes, the orange is kinda hard to read on the blue background. Also, think of a diferent intro for the main section, the spinning flipping looks a little... tacky. Aside from that things look fine. I'm sure your dad is proud.

why not just make it with html? There isn't anything really complecated about this site and I think it would look better in html.

Yea that orange/blue color scheme makes my eyes hurt.

I noticed a little bug. If you double click the "office hours" button, it will load the "Physician eye clinic" section on the second click.

Did you tell him he was paying $100 an hour? haha, change the colors, make it html. Really, you must change the color scheme.

The blue and the orange doesn't go along at all. I just clicked Educational Background and backed off my screen because of the colours. And yes, the buttons are buggy. What claudio said, plus this: I clicked Physician's Eye Clinic twice and it switched to welcome message and back. Try making a colour scheme like in the reflecting ball of the logo. I think it's a nice ball =)

try using other colors for the text - orange and blue are compliments - opposite sides of the color spectrum therefore they vibrate against one another.

i would:
1. make it html (with a similar layout)
2. Make the orange border a lot thinner
3. Make the blue darker
4. make the text white instead of orange :)

Sorry, no more flaming. But you should change it man, especially for 250. There are also misspellings... parntners

Font = size is way too big. It's a little annoying being that large. I dunno about you, but I'm seein Times New Roman. I hate Times!
Colors = not to be ironic, but too hard on the eyes. The colors I think should be based more on the logo that's is there for the site.
Overall = Maybe it's a little too ... space-aged for a physicians web site. I'd kinda want to see something more professional looking. Less curves, more straight edges, easier navigation (meaning labled on the buttons, not shown via mouseover)
Don't get me wrong, I think the site is alright, but I don't think that it's a good design for a professional web site. PM me if you want to talk more about it.

Exactly the words I meant to find... I saw this post a few days ago, and oddly enough, I think this site's for an optomitrist as well. (spelling???)
maybe it's a dentist

That's the kind of professional *look* we're referring to. Yours is far too flashy and well, space aged or something. I don't mean to beat a dead horse here, but This is meant as constructive criticism to help you out. I'm only offering my opinion here, just like every one else is offering theirs. Best of luck!

I'm not seeing the links formatted as such, but here's one of the layouts...

It's the kind of practical, clean, crisp look that should come with a professional site.
