Ok. So finally I have something to have Feedback on. After mystical Orange I did these few artworks. But I would love to know what anyone can find lacking or how it can be improvised. If anyone can guide me about lighting or how to add more realism. It would also help.
The artworks are somewhat final and if anyone feels something needs to be added, touched up or changed so that it becomes better than what it is. It will surely be done.

All these are purely done by imagination with no references whatever. That's why even the mushrooms I made might seem practically unrealistic. But feel free to comment on the same.

Wow that's certainly an interesting art form. What do you call it?

I love the first one!

Umm. I really don't know. I don't have any formal education in art as such. But this is my first best attempt in digital art and I think they could be called Surreal.

Try and diffuse the light in the third one. Shadows have a penumbra.

I would do that. But can you let me know where the problem area is and also cite an example of what you have in mind. Just so I know what you mean to say like Shadows have a penumbra means my shadows have a penumbra or shouldn't have?
Im'ma confused. :)

Hello there! "Penumbra" means that shadows have a fall-off range - ie, the intensity of the shadow get less as it stretches away from the object causing the shadow, if that makes sense? What software are you using for your work? What you have is a super start, & I thought you might be interested in this link - (I used to use Bryce years ago & still love it) Each member has their own gallery - I thought it might give you some ideas & inspiration too!

Thank you scotia. That made perfect sense and I have actually implemented it in some places. I will have to work more on shadows in the last one. I am getting a wacom hopefully by weekend and this will be the first thing on my mind to get done.
I got these done with PS.
Thanks for the link. I will check the works there for inspiration and study them.

Interesting choices. I feel like the colour choices could be tighter. Right now it feels overly saturated which kinda reduces the contrast compositonally.

Grey scaled reveals that you have a lot of natural contrast, but not enough variation in tone to fit everything together.

Hmm.. A nice observation Pasquale. Oversaturation is in all of them right now. Gonna keep that in mind when I start on my next one. Thanks for the careful insight. :)
I'll experiment toning the color on this one as well.

That's a very interesting topic. But this field is still new to me. It will be grateful if you give me some more information about it. Thanks in advance.

Sorry guys but I just wanted to give an update. The Wacom bamboo pen that I wanted wasn't available and has just arrived at the Indian outlet today so maybe a couple more days and things might get done soon enough. Thanks for all your inputs. Any more feedback is appreciated.

These pictures are amazing.

How long would it take to make one of these?

For art experts it can take just hours to a single day to make more than one and they call such finished works their rough sketches.

For me on each of these I spent around 3 hours during the day then a break and another 3-4 hours late in the night for up to 3, 4 days. Once its finished I still fine tune several details or improvise it.
Glad you like them. :)

what I like about these artworks is that it has the right lighting so the viewer knows where to look. or what is the subject... I like them :)

Thanks so much. :)
I still have to reduce and balance the colors/shadows in them and other things here though as some guys suggested. Now that I even got a tablet but I've been so loaded with project work I just can't get a chance to retouch them as yet. Some more time before I attend to that.
