Hi,
I experienced something very weird and funny, and wanted to know if this has happened to anyone before. This is what happened. I started my comp and everything worked fine, as it should. No problem. But suddenly, my computer started living and doing things on it's own. The mouse moved all by itself and clicked by itself too. It started programs, shut them down, it even changed my desktop image. I had no control over it. It was very frightening, so I hit the reset button immediately. Everything works fine again now. What happened to my comp ?

That sounds like a hacker/trojan. If you don't have/use a firewall, I would recommend getting one immediately.

what OS?
if its XP...right click the my computer icon and select properties...
then find the tab that says remote...
there should be two check boxes...
make sure the one at the bottom, or the far most bottom one is unchecked.
this setting is in reference to allowing others to connect to your computer...
we used to play tricks back in college on each other using this...lol
also make sure pc anywhere isnt installed on the machine
and look into a firewall...
get back to me with that above information though
so we can help you out!

I suppose if it was someone Voet knew and had sent a desktop pic to (for whatever reason) then maybe.. wouldn't work for me though - my desktop appearance changes on a daily basis ;)
