Is there a way I can access command line parameters from an as3 projector file?

A user id, which it can then pass into an xml file.

I think you probably need to look at creating or writing to an XML file, then reading that into Excel. A quick Google gives this support.microsoft.com/kb/827294 as a starter for 10.
