hey everyone,
I have just finished a website for a client:
www.twocreate.co.uk
Can you please have a look through it and tell me if there are any problems. I dont really need critiquing regarding the graphical design or functionality, i just want to see if people encounter any wierd problems when viewing the site on different platforms, with different browsers.
If you encounter any problems, please tell me what operating system you are using and which browser.
I have had a few comments of "banding" on some pictures (this is where the gradients separate - print term).
Also does anyone know if the user can premanently set there flash quality to low? Obviously there is code in the html page to set the quality to high, but i wonder if a user can premanently bypass this.
thanks for everyone's help.

heheh, I did my art foundation at Chelsea, just finished in June, not staying on though unfortunately - off to uni :thumb: What course did you do?
oh, btw, one thing I did notice - you mentioned that gradient banding - well, you could do with increasing the quality of the images under Products|Clear 15 to get rid of that - think that's the only place I noticed it :)

That is a nice well rounded site. I'm using IE6 and there was no problems viewing your site (I'm using an AMD 2.4GHz, 512 DDR RAM, 128 NVidia graphics). I like the simplicity of the design and the great transition effects.

hey daedelus, that's great to hear!
I think the problem is that you (we) all have pretty decent computers and are up to date with browsers, plugins etc. We should start a forum section where people have rubbish old pcs/macs and dated browsers! That way we can be sure that are sites work well even on the older ones.
I reckon its time to buy a beat up old imac (urghh -mac) just for testing.
Anyway thanks

No problems ... some slow download times on a few parts of the site, but I think that was on my end.
Good work
