It's the inside cover the the Venetian Snares - Doll Doll Doll album. The scan didn't come out so clear so I had to manually trace it in Flash, I think it came out pretty good considering my ability to draw in Flash is about -7 :trout:

Aaron Fun aka Venetian Snares is one guy. He is an experimental electronic artists. And of course he's good, he's great (if your into that type of music), otherwise I wouldn't theme myself around it.

LOL, well it's his job to be confusing. He pays careful attention to his snares usage which is where that jumps in. As for Venetian, I have no clue, perhaps he was staring at a pair of Venetian Blinds ;)

And "Experimental" and "Electronic" SHOULD be used in the same sentence more often. You get the good stuff when it is experimental, a lot of the other stuff is just all the same thing :sigh: (not that it isn't good though!!!!)

Hehe, Trevor Brown is an amazing artist. Of course most of his stuff is a bit on the insane side, but that doesn't make it any less incredible.

I love all the covers he does for Venetian Snares, but Doll Doll Doll is hands down the best of the covers.

I'm surprised I didn't have this much trouble making a footer/avatar for my last Aphex Twin - Windowlicker theme. I cracked that one out in one shot :)

lol, well I never used to change it often, which I guess I was lucky because it was a huge pain in the arse to find my first avatar and my first footer on my super cluttered computer. My 2nd avatar was hard to find as well, and my 2nd footer was still on my server so that helped.

Everything after that was pretty easy to find because I started getting more organized as to where I put things so they were all in the same vacinity on my computer.


There should be a trackback thread where people post their past footers and avatars...lol.

And yea asphalt, the grass footer is way way way oversized, and reducing the file size means reducing the quality which unfortunately highly reduces it's beauty.

my first thought is that this is a colorful person. but who knows, I may be wrong. However, I doubt that considering the number of changes he has made to his signature and footers. Only a truly creative person would do such a thing so often.

There's probably a lot more to get into by a simple ray of color, but hijacking his thread is not appropriate. :bad:
