NEw Version of Site, SUggestions?

Hey guys, I kinda dissapeared for a little while when I got hooked on my friends computer game but its aight. I finnally made a new version of my site. The old one had randomly generated trees from systern.net and the one in my footer, but I decided to make my own script this time and make ripples. Easy enough eh? However, I still need something in that box to the left. You'll see what I mean when you go to the site. I need lots of comments and suggestions.

I wish they were paying me lol. I'm not exactly old liek most people who do flash. In fact I'm only 14 , so I can't exactly afford or wish to afford a nice URL and add free page. Oh well :sigh:

I dislike color lol. It make's me having to format teh site such a pain and then I always end up not liking it in the end. I liek the text in your footer, so true. Anyone else got suggestions? Leave them here cause im retiring for teh night. By the way Yeldarb, what's your site?

the mouse-thingy's a little annoying to me... slows the whole thing down. other than that i like it. i don't mind the lack of color so much...

Yeah, nice ideas and layout overall. However, the random generation and the music and the pointer, etc... all lead to a very processor intensive movie which is both highly annoying and causes a very cheesy effect. I would add at least some color to the page or at least shadows or highlights so you can at least tell what you're looking at. Good job ;) BTW, hosting is dirt cheap man. I know you get birthday money or something.

Thanks a lot for teh suggestions guys. I think I'll add some other kind of random something or atleast change the frequency at which the new ripples are created. Some how I'll add a little color into it :wink: . I tihnk I'll also get rid of the cursor because it slows down my computer a tad aswell. Thanks a lot for teh help way back when claudio. My site still uses your scripting lol.

Oh yeah, btw, you guys got any recomendations on what I can put in teh background instead of teh ripples? As I said before I used to have trees like the one in my footer, but youguys got any ideas?

When I entered your page, I killed pop-ups. When I clicked enter, I killed a pop-up, lol :P I thought it was another commercial pop-up instead of your site. Let's see here ... Some colour would definately be nice. IMO there is no need for the Home section. "The navigation is to the left of this textbox. To go to a section click the button." -> Well duh, how do you think I got here :P ?
