how to create this amzing effect???

Hi,

i'm working on a new design and i want to include this amazing effect on it (the running light/neon effect).

what do you think is the easiest way to create it?

the neon effect is a video ( you can create this using programme called after-effects) . the video slider is a clever video with flash navigation slider . don't have the code for this.. perhaps ask osmeone in the actionscript (AS3) forums

the "nightlife" and "Amenities (probably spelled wrong)" sections of the video are actually 3D animations O.O

...raises head above parapet - the orange neon could be created in flash...using guides, tweens, duplicated glowing mcs & a whole lotta blur effect - wouldnt be *quite* so snazzy, but would be a while lot cheaper than AE...?
