I need some help with windows.
I reinstalled XP last night, and now when I install RADEON catalyst drivers and reboot... i get a blank screen. I have a 9600 Pro 256mb card.
Please help, need feedback ASAP.
THANKS!

Are you sure you have the latest drivers? And the card is fully plugged into the AGP slot with a sufficient power source?

drivers- when i download and install the latest ones, i reboot up into a blue or black screen... then when i reboot i choose 'use last known good configuration' and at that point i dont have the drivers... this is the problem i am trying to fix.
i have taken the card out, and the power it get is through the agp slot. i have reset my motherboard by taking out the power and the battery, i have done all i know to do. but thx anyway

1) take the card out and boot up the pc (windows should run in software, low res mode)
2) uninstall any instances of graphics drivers that yo can find
3) install the latest Radeon ones
4) shutdown and install the card
5) boot up, when it detects the new hardware, find the drivers you just installed and it should work.
if that doesnt work, do steps 1 to 5 again, but use the last drivers that you know definitely work.

try booting into safe mode (keep hitting F8 as your computer boots up)
then right click on my computer, left click on properties, left click on the hardware tab, left click on Device Manager button
click the plus sign next to the "Display Adapters" right click on the ATI Radeon Card and select properties
then click on the Driver tab, and then the "update driver" button...then select install from a specific location, browse to where you have the drivers downloaded and click next.
when it gets done installing reboot into normal mode and it should work
(I know this is what other people have told you to do too, but it's worth another shot at least)

ohhhhhhhhh
it SOUNDS like you may have corrupted driver files
go onto ATI's website and try downloading them again...save them directly to the root of your C: drive

ooohhhh... it sounds like u pluged in your monitor in the digital port... radeons only switch into digital mode if you change them in display properties
switch ports and try again...
