View Full Version : Is it wrong...

...to be totally in love with someone you know you can never meet? When you are an inane person who will never get a chance to get that chance with that person? Almost as addicted as to stalk; speechless rhythm to replace any talk. Nights of lost sleep spent in a world where it is just you and her.

Call me crazy, call me wrong. I hate this feeling i've had so long. it's a disease that really can't be cured, you know the feeling: being swarmed by that one girl's innocent smile, her voice, laughter, silence thereafter...

to add to that lonely guy thread, I am very lonely because my whole world is based on one person, and it is sad. I know it's sad. i've tried killing this feeling by completely not thinking of her, but it's futile. what do you guys do when you're in this situation, if you've ever been in this situation?

last time this happened to me, i meditated, forcing myself that i didn't really like the person at the time. Afterwards, i ended up completely hating her, which was really not my intention. She was my friend, but i felt like she had betrayed me to some extent.

if there's one thing i hate, it's losing friends. but another thing i also hate is not having the one i want.

Go up to her and say, wanna marry me, and then if she says no, you can say, wasn't meant to be and move on.

move on with your life or whatever shred of it you have left. there are 3 billion other women in the world and you are questioning one. get your head out of the gutter, out of the poetry, out of the bull$hit, live a normal life. or you'll end up like this guy:

I know what it is. Lorcas is John W. Hinckley Jr. and he's talking about Jodie Foster. He must be on one of his trips to a library where he gained access to a computer to post here. It's all falling into place.

Or, you can collect pictures, hang them on your wall and stare at them all day curled up in a ball with the windows blocked out muttering curses to your self about how she is mearly deniying the truth!

(being a cynic is fun)

Well personally I'd recommend this to you. Don't go on an on-line forum full of these kinds of people (looks around) and expect us to be able to give you advice. We don't know you personally, we don't know about the situation, and we aren't psychiatrists. Either talk to a real psychiatrist, ask a friend who knows about the situation and you, or determine your own path.

we're reading about a guy like you in AP European History
Petrarch-> "Petrarch's most famous contemporary work was a collection of highly introspective love sonnets to a certain Laura, a married woman whom he romantically admired from a safe distance"
Then there were other guys who wrote letters to dead guys (Cicero) asking them questions about their life... I bet it's safe to say that they have less "problems" than you. AND, they must have done something right, because 700 years later, they are still in the history books.
