yeah LOGO! That was so much fun. I was the master turtle mover of my fourth grade class :) Thanks for the words of encouragement on PHP njs. I can't seem to get it set up on my computer so that I can test it though, I keep having to upload to a server which is kind of annoying. I cant find the IIS console to enable. ??

I would use apache.
I use a pre-packaged version called WAMP. It's very easy to use, it's packaged in a Windows Installer so ya just click next ;-)

Dan, that language sounds very useful... I tried to learn it some time ago but failed miserably.
You wouldn't happen to have some links to help me learn it would you?

I just want to say: HTML, XHTML, PHP, ASP, PERL, XML, etc are not programming languages, for obvious reasons.
That said, my list:
BASIC (Ti-83 basic, but basic nonetheless ;)), AS, LOGO
That's it. I'll be getting into proce55ing soon, and PHP is also on my todo list (altho not a programming language).

Great :) Thanks a bunch. You are in the UK though, a little odd time difference. I can't come on during the day because I am at work but in the evenings if I need help I will seek your wisdom.

PHP is now an official programming language, although not a major one, unlike Perl or ASP. :)
I know ActionScript, PHP, Basic, Visual Basic, very little c++, some Assembly language, and I've been looking at ActionScript 2.0 lately :)

As i said in the sticky in 'Flash MX' forum, I was given access to the beta as a reviewer (and not a tester) through another Flash community I moderate at :)

You can create Rich Media Applications with it, like Flash-based store backends or any other kind of web applications.. you can also use it to create forums.. you can do pretty much anything server-side with it
