Photo editing battle!

[Coppertop]

The idea is simple, you use photoshop (or your favourite graphics program) And merge 2 or more pictures.

Your goal is to make it either a: funny b: real or c:a and b

Submissions should have the finnished file and a link to each picture used in the final product (can be [<b></b>img] or a text link)


Bonus points for an accomanying short story (no more than 1 paragraph (approx 200-300 words)) or caption
Ie, if you have a picture of a bird stuck in a tree, then the caption could be "badminton birdie you moron, not a real one"

Deadline: all entries should be in one month after i say "go!" please don't upload them before.

heres an idea. a limit of 2 main pics, and then 4 smaller, thumbnails. the 2 main ones can be any size, but the 4 smaller ones must be no more than 25% of you image in size.

that kindof gives it more room for different results, but we kindof need a subject.

1. How much, if any, of the final photo can be our own creation?....i.e. Filters, Effects, "Modified Background"....etc.... Or is it just photos...???

2. Probably falls into the question above....How much can the photos be "manipulated"?

You don't need to get all the people before you start, get a mod, start it and then whoever submits an entry at the end is in, that's how the battles usually work.

so how are the bonus points added on in the whole scheme of things? Is this a combination of best caption and pic, or best editing? Does it have to be double spaced? and will marks be deducted on grammer or content? :P I'm not so sure about this story part....makes me reluctant to enter

i had some trouble with ideas at first too. i ended up making some eye looking thing. after that i found the glass text tutorial at phong.com so i went with that idea instead.
