I had to bring this up, just 'cause this Canook's parents are suing the 4 guys who started this hilarity, saying that their kid had to quit school, and spend the rest of the year in a "psychiatric educational facility."

I'm gonna laugh my arse off if they get any money. In the US, they wouldn't even get past the filing...

I LOVE the CONSTITUTION

well, the First Ammendment at least...

I thought they dropped the charges after they raised a sympathy fund (enough for an iPod?) :)

no they are still suing, and I wouldnt talk about stupid law suits you crazy americans.

I seem to recal a very bright person from south of our border who saw fit to sue McDonalds because, low and behold, her coffee was hot! and when it burnt her after she spilled it she was so shocked she decided to sue! ;)

yes, and she won...

but still, this is not a crazy law, just the fact that you don't have the 1st Ammendment cracks me up!

God Save the Queen!

you would have died @ cooking school...

we had an instructor named "Herve' " (pronounced 'ervay')... He used to correct my French (it is horrible), so I used to correct his english... in class... and call him "Harvey."

I got an "A" in his class, but only because he couldn't find any fault in my work... I don't think he would have failed me anyway... he would have to see me again, since I would have to take the course over again (French cheeses)...

I used to think that case was frivolous, but I read the details of it and she was actually right in suing them. The coffee was boiling hot, and she had to go to the hospital.

There was another case in which a lady sued an airline company cause she was sat next to a fat person. The fat person didnt fit the seat, and cut the circulation to her arm.

but still, those are injury related lawsuits...

no one was injured here, except Ghyslain's self esteem, which prob wasn't in the best of shape to begin with (pun intended)...

In England, a guy left 650 thousand pounds to his cat...

that... is rediculous...

Personally I think this kid deserves something. I know that if I had done something like that in private and it somehow got on the internet, I'd probably end up killing myself. Literally. That would just be so humiliating.

But since I'm not him, that thing is hilarious. I still like the matrix one the best though :).

I've never said that it wasn't mean, or even in bad taste, but still, he did tape himself being the ultimate geek, so hopefully, everyone who sees this learns the lesson the easy way...

life kinda does that to you... sneaks up and teaches you stuff...
