whats the yellowish texture supposed to be? It doesnt look too real :-\

Otherwise, a little more grit and subtle light sourcing should add to the realism.

looks like a map :-\ The yellowy stuff don't seem to blend in tot he wall, seems like a piece of paper stuck over it. And the bricks seem to small for the yellowy stuff :-\ Oh and if its a wall, the chemical would probably flow more towards one direction. Right now it just seems random...

added some light (thx sen) and... made it look better :P

i want it too look like it's "been eaten by chemicals"... hard to explain :/

ah, yeah thats coming along now :beam:

I think, given the "war" circumstance, it would be a great touch to add broken and crumbling bricks in the wall. I dont know how easy that would be for you to do, but it would help accentuate the whole degredation association inherent with war. scratches too. So what is the green stuff again? Is that like the plaster stuff that was on the wall and now being broken off or is it something else? It still seems a little too 'perfect' right now ;)

yep, maybe reduce the drop shadow on the outer layer of the wall too :) looks like it's floating 2 inches in front of the wall :)

yeah thats why I was asking. As a tarp maybe, it might be ok, but as an outter wall it seemed 'floaty' :)

The lighting helped but the clouds didn't. I know you want it to look like after a chemical war but i think the green might be too green.Try addeding some more pale white to it.

You drop shadow is way to big there should be only the smallest hint of one casue this is on the wall not sitting in front of it.

The color is to flat so u need some more texture on it. I'm guessing it is supposed to be soem kind of wallpaper or stucko. So experament with some textures or grunge brushes to make it look more real.

What really might help is if it is wallpaper try have small pieces of it roll up a bit. When wallpaper starts to lift form a wall some of it always rolls up. If it is stucko try adding some chicken wire in between it and the wall. Stucko is usaly put on layer of chicken type wire so put some of that hanging near the edges where the brick is showing threw. :edit: Oh add if it is paint and bubles and blisters. If it is paint also add some more cracks in the middle of the green.:edit:

One of the best things u can do is go find some pictures of old walls. When u work off a reallpicture it will always come out realistic.

give the green stuff a large inner bevel using a light color dodge it will give it some thickness.... try making it a bit transparent too - like flubber bio-sludge =)

the big flat green part sticks out too much. sintax gave a bunch of good ideas, and i think that you need to add more details to the wall, instead of focusing on the green part. try making it smaller, its one big chunk, which takes away a lot of the realism.

you have to give it somethickness - i didn't work with opacity but I think it's to key to make look like it 'sticks' to the wall (as well as sludge marks)

the slime or whatever it is looks like its on a completely different layer, which is bad. try more blending effects, and it doesnt have to be bright green. just remember that the wall is your main content, and the green stuff is secondary.
