Hello,

I'm in a bit of an emergency situation. I need build a high def video player in flash as3 for people WITHOUT the quicktime player.

Neither mov nor m4v files work (They obviously need quicktime), and when I convert my movies to FLV they look very pixelated.

IS there anyway to build a high def video player that does not require quicktime player!?!?

Thanks

first of all are the .mov good quality? if so when you convert them to .FLV just crank up the settings .... or you could also make them h264.

Well, since you're talking about Flash video, you're talking about FLV files. They can be whatever resolution you want. If they look pixelated it's because you're doing it wrong.

Thanks,

Yes--I was able to convert them properly using H264.
