Alright, my host (madsims.net) will offer *FREE* hosting to me like such:
250 MB Space
2000 MB B/W
15 FTP Accounts
20 E-mails
10 E-mail Lists
25 Databases
25 Subdomains
Park 5 Domains
Host 5 Domains
and some more.
If I purchase my own domain name. I have chosen www.coppertop.cc.
So, I have two questions,
one: Does anyone know of any places that sell cheap .cc domains (approx $40 cdn per year (approx $55-60 usd), I'm willing to pay up to $50 cdn though - about $65-70 usd)?
two: does anyone know free hosting that comes better than this? Emphasis on *FREE* and Phil if you are reading this, *PHREE*
If you guys know, please tell me, it would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks.

well you could go with ipowerweb.com and pay $100 a year for the hosting and get the domain name for free...
probably not the solution you are looking for tho....

Thanks yeldarb. Thats the lowest price yet. before that it was something like $12. Just wondering, but do you get spam in your mail? because I hear cheap domains may sell your email to spam people to make up for the money. just a rumor though.
Jubba. Haha, thanks, your right, I'm a cheap penny-pinching bastard (part of the cppba - cheap penny-pinching bastards anonymous) and $100 per year is a bit much. About $50-60 to much/
mdipi - I would go with .com, but coppertop.com is taken by one of those people who go out and buy hot domains that other big companies will want (like duracell in this case) and then sell it to them for like $4billion dollars (not litteraly) www.coppertop.com see for your self

no, domains by proxy doesn't release your real email address, address, or phone number (which is usually available to the public)... well... i guess i did pay a little extra for the annonymity, but that's just cuz my mom's phycho about weirdos hunting me down or something. you could probably just set up a hotmail account, and use that one only for the domain name, then it doesn't matter if you get spammed.

Yes, that is true. Well, I'll look into that one, thanks yeldarb!
By the way, I just noticed the coppertop.ca is available. What do you think of that? ca cause I am a proud happy canuck? or cc because it could stand for "Coppertop Creations" which would be pretty cool?
