Nachi Virus

Any body know how to get rid of this one. It is brand new mutation of the blaster worm. I did a reinstal of XP and before i could downlaod the new securtiy patches this "Nachi Virus" and "Blaster Worm" both attacked my PC. My internet connection has been reduced to 1.5k transfer rates. Plus i need a good free virus scaner. One with no spy or add ware.

Jubba listed AVG from grisoft.com ... I just installed it on my g/f's comp, and she loves it.

I have to say, if this Blaster worm gets a hold of my machine and I have to re-install windows, I'm gonna scrap that and just run Linux instead.

I'm tired of all these **** worms and viruses!

w32.welchia is Nachis alias. Run this and it will clear it up. THen put upa a fire wall and keep your security updated.

That and blaster worm had been slowing down my systme for 3 days. things are bck to good now.
