Hey Kman!
I remember an old Iphone Theme thread, but I guess it didn't get much light. I was searching around, and maybe this may be implemented for these forums?

I browse Kforums daily, and it would be just a huge added plus if it was Iphone-accessible.
What do you guys think?

Yep, also will be nice since a lot of the new phones are the same 320px minimum width.
Would be a nice project to write an application for the palm pre.

Same if there was an app for kforums. Like the facebook app and whatnot.

Yea, I just did some research its not possible unless kirupa put a mobile.php file and have it generate basic results.
Then we could have a nice little contest (not kirupa involved), about who can make the best application for their mobile device platform.
Viewing
kirupa.com/forum/mobile.php?action=new&limit=10
kirupa.com/forum/mobile.php?action=index
kirupa.com/forum/mobile.php?action=forum&limit=10&forum=4&page=1
kirupa.com/forum/mobile.php?action=thread&limit=10&thread=322977&page=1
Authenticated (post: username / password stored in application along with url)
kirupa.com/forum/mobile?action=post&thread=322977
kirupa.com/forum/mobile.php?action=smilies //For quick menu/favorites
//then a few others for PM's I guess...
The hardest part is keeping it secure when someone posts, viewing the forums would only take a few minutes of work to generate said xml files.
if we did it like a contest it would have to be based off of tons of screenshots of each app through to make it fair

To do this well (via a native app), a forum API would have to be provided by either vBulletin or Kirupa. While I've wanted this for years (and would totally make a Pre app if it was available), I don't see this happening soon. :-/
