Hi
Im not really sure how to word this but here goes....
I was looking at this site [erain homepage] (http://www.erain.com) and on the main SWF movie it has three chambers which appear to be emerging from the floor this effect appears throughout the site and i have seen a similar effect on whosweV1 [the mobile phone] and other sites.... but i wanna no how i can do it..... can you help??

this is really ment for drawing and design. 3d will see it there, and he can do anything in swift.

this is the 3d he spoke of .....the Man....the Myth.......oh excuse me
Ok this is a pretty simple effect. First create a plane that spans your camera view (or as big as you want it). Have your shapes start out below the plane (out of site) then animate them up. To do that lil cut out effect you have to animate an extrusion. This uses the extrusion editor.
Let me know if you need a better explanation.

3d is 3d-iva. the master pro of the drawing and design forum. you cannot move threads yourself, you need a mod too, thats why kit did it.

thanks man.....hahahahaha.....gigli.. That movie was indeed terrible. Although J-Lo looks good anywhere in any role.

I WAS WITH YOU TILL YOU STARTED WITH THE EXTRUSION BIT SO I GUESS I NEED A BETTER EXPLANATION OR EVEN BETTER :) YOU COULD DO A SIMPLE SQUARE THROUGH THE 'PLANE' AND SEND IT TO ME.....
