Hello ya'll

I am working on a interface for a tech company oout here and would like a critique on the material/texture. They are looking for a tech/trendy/mainstream interface. So I put together a lil sample of a material that I will be making the interface out of. It is not near being finished just wanted a critiqu on the material....DOes it look cheesy or convincing or whatever. Took all day to achieve this look and I fear I may have been looking at it too long. So need fresh eyes to check it out.

Yeah man, it looks great. I've seen my fair share of plastic(as has anyone with Photoshop) and I definitely like this one the best. The white curves inside it look very very nice, really pulls it together. Great job=)

thanks guys. It still looks like it is lacking something to me. But then again it could be because I was on it all day. They wanted metallicy yet plastic and organic looking. A dream client :D. Anone else?

the only possible problem i could see is on the left side, where the two different sections meet.... i think it looks a bit funny with the black being so sharp, but that could be just me

really nice job :)

make sure to antialias the inner white thingy (cos right now it looks a bit crisp)
maybe by addind a faint outer/inner glow...

otherwise hell ya it looks good !

Thanks guys.

Syko: it is rather easy to do actually it is just one shape with a series of layer styles. It took me a while since I was experimenting. But I am going to add a diffuse/displacement map to it. Now that will be a lil diff.
