Silverlight Viewer Beijing Olympics 2008

Just wondering if anyone used the Silverlight app to view the Beijing 2008 Olympics. I will honestly say, that was thee best internet experience I've ever had. I watched pretty much every tennis match at 3 - 5am Live from the US, it was pretty sweet.

I used it to watch badminton matches, but I wasn't really interested in any of the other events. I thought that it was fairly inconsequential that it was done in Silverlight, except that I'm sure that the installed base for the player is now larger because of it.

I thought that it was fairly inconsequential that it was done in SilverlightI agree, and also that it was built by MS, quite possibly more of a marketing strategy.

I guess the experience had more to do with it 1 being the Olympics, 2 it was close to 1024 px resolution and very clear, 3 streaming through the internet so no need for tv or cable and it was live, 4 the viewer could switch to and watch multiple live events in multiple screens (4 i think), that was probably about it.
