Well you adressed the negative space issue in the second one, and the unbalanced aspect pulls your eyes across the image.
But overall I like the other one, the colors and image seemed better to me. You just need to use all the space your working with and add to it.
Keep up the good work!:)

thanks man for the comments and advice im not sure what to add to the first one though i tried adding more images but it seems to cramped and cluttered but maybe if i crop and re-arrange i could get something better

Well personally I liked the arrangement of the first version, it just needed more to it.
What exactly are you making this for?
If it makes sense I would suggest putting in more content or text into that blank area, more if you really want to fill it up and less if you still want to keep it light and airy (which I think would be better).
Also see you registered at my boards, thanks! :) Hope to see you around there often!C:-)

no problem about the boards ;)
anyway i am making this for my personal website which i am currently designing and these peices are to be used in my portfolio
i dont really know what to fill the space up with though, i tried images but they didnt fit right so maybe i will try some text but im not sure on what type of text, any ideas ?

Well considering your using it as your portfolio, I'd suggest using something that would represent you and your style.
If your a bold, short and too the point person put a few bold, large words.
If your a detailed person then put lots of little words, very descriptive and intricatly placed.
Also if you know of any friends from here let them know about our boards as well. :pope:
Also can you do me a favor? If you could just change this image down to 50x50 so I can use it as an icon on here please?
Thanks

hmm... i think im more of a bold and to the point person, so i could use some words the cause tears but in n affectionate way to maybe convey love and peace and not so much pain and despair.
here is your image you wanted, and yes i will tell my friends about the boards :) :tie:

It's Bleutuna's "cubestick" that he made originally white, then he also made an orange edition for himself and blue one for me. <:}
