Holy crap I was speechless for the entire movie and about 20 minutes afterwards. It was absolutely amazing and Liam Neeson is always the king. I'd see it 100 more times.

I was impressed, but not speechless ;) I was reluctant to see it at first, but it turned out OK. It was better than I thought it would be but I don't think as good as everyone else thinks or at least says it is.
There's definitely a "sweet spot" for this movie. Luckily, that spot is most of the movie - when Liam is in kick-butt mode. Sadly its surrounded by very lame and uneven attempts to try to get us emotionally involved. I think the ending especially just wasn't handled very well in that respect, but at that point you're already so overwhelmed with the fact that Liam finally did the job that you don't really care.
Its no die hard, and its no bourne, but its definitely respectable title that can give fans of those series their money's worth.

I actually liked this better than bourne but to each his own. Maybe not so much for the depth of the story (which I still thoroughly enjoyed) but occasionaly I like to see a movie where the main man just beats the crap out of everyone and neeson definitely delivered that.

Wow, the previews really don't portray this movie like this at all...

This is pretty much what I thought of it. The whole pop star part could have been cut out of the movie. I mean I understand why it was put in but going to Europe to kick a whole lot of people's ***** > a pony.

Loved this movie, It's a unique case scenario of kidnapping. Some scene's are a bit impossible though;(

I finally saw it... Definitely really cool, but I agree that the pop star part could have been completely left out.
Also, did anyone else notice that his daughter seemed to just sprint everywhere? It's like she never walks, she just crouches a little and does this awkward flailing charge toward her destination.

I'm sorry I didn't see this before but that was hilarious.

Haha, I never did notice the daughter's prancing, but in hindsight, that seems to fit her character haha.
I thought the movie was good, and sen described my overall feelings about the movie nicely in his writeup.

Apparently I'm not the only one that noticed it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEWEjxw1ABk. I want someone to take these clips and weave them in with Barry Sanders highlights.
