hey guys i am running XP Home and norton wont install :( like it does, but when i go to run it, parts are missing and it gives me like 50 error msgs. i am really whacked because it worked before i reformated. it says i have to restart and i do and it still is there, now it wont install live update...AHH!

Ai - that's strange. I used to install SW all the time, and it never gave me that error. What is one message it gives you?
PS: SW is really just bloatware for XP because most of its features are already in XP itself. NAV2003 as a standalone is far better unless you get SW Pro for its internet security tools - imo though :)

yeah i want nav 2k3 i picked this one up for like 15 or something, really good deal at a local shop that had clearence. i might just get that or the one jub said to get. but...more to be spent for what i have :-\
when installing it says that live update is unable to install. then when i go to open it it says something like:
This program has been installed or some of it has been installed. you need to restart. so i do and it says the same...grr

Uninstall everything SW related and then try re-installing the program.
