Shape tweening

Hello, i had problem with shape tweening...

I put a textbox and typed "Hello" , then add another in the same layer with "hi". Then i "shape tween" it. But it wouldnt transform... why?

I also tried a box in 1st frame and text in 20th frame, it also cannot. I did not group it or symbol it, why?

I did it once about a year ago... but i forgot the correct method, anyone knows?

I hope someone would say press [ctrl-B] to break up the words... then can shape tween...

You are correct, breaking up the words tells Flash to treat them as graphics, and not as text.
