... just blows my mind away.
i can hear a song that i've heard literally at least 50,000 x before, and still be amazed. not many bands can do this 4 me.
pink floyd has got to be the most timeless band ever.
echoes- now that is a completely ... wow..
there are just no words to describe it cuz it surpasses verbal description... thats why its so great.. it says something words never can, it goes beyond that.. it paints a whole existence in notes and sounds and tones and hues and vibrant colors of motion and vibration and spikes and points and cones and circles and orbs and wormholes and planets and cells and god and life and death and existence and
id better stop, you catch my drift

Got "burned out"
on the Floyd a while back...
now if I hear Dark Side of the Moon one more time, I'm not responsible what I do to the CD player...

Eep, my footer and/or avatar said Wandering the d*rk s*de of the m**n (shhh ! don't make rev see this :P) some time ago, I'm not sure if it's still there.
Anyways, Living Dead Girl by Rob Zombie is also a very good, timeless song. Just wanted you guys to notice :)

ahhhh...and by the way - which one's pink ?
I don't own many discs these days, hardly buy music ever since all my old LP's were lost in a move years ago (¿mysteriously dissappeared?)
I'm mainly a fan of the local classic rock statioin and therefore hear Pink Floyd on occassion and love every bit....
Some also timeless to me::
MoodyBlues
any early Clapton, esp: Cream - disraelliGears
The Byrds
Dylan
early Stones

Grateful Who?
no, that was another group...
I saw Ben Harper last nite... Carlos Santana walked on for a couple tunes, including a Hendrix cover...
I then went to see Zigaboo Modeliste (The Meters), and funk'd my booty off until 2... I'm moving kinda slow today...
I've actually gotten better about PF, it was a roommate 15 yrs ago that did it to me...
