This is an odd question for Kirupa, I know... But, does anybody know if it's possible to send a new meeting request to an Outlook user from outside of outlook itself?
To explain: I'm working on a project management project for my company, and there's a Calendar Event/Meeting management section in it... I'm trying to see if there's a way I can format an email that I send from it so that outlook will treat it like a new Meeting Request. In effect, when a user gets an email notification from the app that they have a new meeting to attend that was scheduled within the project management app, they can automatically add it to their Outlook calendars as well.
Anybody have any input? TIA! :)
