How can i improve this template?

Ok i have created this template, but it looks a bit plain :-\ I personally think its too long and thin (because there will also be a flash part above it). Can you guys give me some suggestions on howta spice it uP? thanks!! :P

for one add some perspective lines to the bottom like the top, There is not much there to spin off of let me think on it.

Some door gates sorta stuff...I wanted less darker blue type colors, so i tried this...i think i'll havta change the colors then. Any suggestions on what would be good?!

Hey blah......That is really minimal info....what is it for? what are the requirements? Right now the colors are not sitting right with me....I think it is the skinny lines or maybe it is the metallic pipes....Give me more to work with and post as you make progress and I can be of more assistance

Thanks 3d, basically the theme is 'door gates' pretty much. Not many requirements since the guy doesn't know much bout computers :P I'm thinkin of just scrapping the whole idea and remake something new. I'll be back once i get this one done thanks :)

ok what is the company or site what do they do? What will be the focus of the site? If it has to do with doors I would start of with an actual door maybe a futuristic one. If this is geared to a young crowd......
