hi! guys,

First of all, big ?question in front of mine.
Is this possible to load pdf format file in flash dynamically using AS2.0 or AS3.0?

second, If this is possible, please provide me full reference link.

Third, If this is not possible then is there any other method to convert pdf to swf or anyother format that flash supports at runtime, because my mission is to create flash based pdf viewer, with following features.......

1, load external pdf file in flash dynamically.
2, pan , zoom, scroll its pages as Adobe Acrobat reader.
3. select text or images, search specific string in that.
4, print pdf or download pdf to client side.

Of course you can make it by some opensource script of AS. It takes long time job and energy as well. So, I prefer to convert PDF to Flash by software like"axmag", just go to Online PDF to Flash (http://www.axmag.com) and upload your files, then an url link is given after conversion.
Here is a demo :http://www.axmag.com/gallery/maya2009/index.html

getURL("pdflocationhere.pdf")???

but I believe thats totally dependent on how the users computer is set up. If they don't have Adobe Reader, it will probably fail, or will attempt to load the pdf within a modern browser that should have the reader plug-in.

So, converting through softwares is more feasible than AS code.

Issuu and Scribd.com? These to seems to be the most famous platforms for online PDF conversion and reviewing.

PDFmeNot, which is absorbed by Google, is not me my choice.

aXmag.com is a new site with free online conversion, you can give that a shot.

A few years ago I used Flash Paper which has been discontinued, but you can use print2flash which is basically the same thing as Flash Paper.

Not free.
