Milkbox 2.0 released!

Milkbox 2.0 (lightbox) for MooTools 1.2.1 is out. The main new features:

- swf support

- xml gallery definition (quite a unique feature in lightbox clones)

- really improved autoPlay features

- really improved JavaScript direct launch (total control over number of gallery and file to start with; override of any autoPlay option)

- refined global options management ( see changeOptions() and restoreOptions() )

- custom events ( onXmlGalleries and onClosed )

This thread should have been posted in the Source and Experiments board: this board is for questions and problems relating to Client-side technologies. You should PM a moderator to have him change it. DDD or nobody will probably do it for you.

Source/Experiments isn’t all that appropriate either; as far as I can tell, he didn’t make it himself. :-/

And, for all, in the end, where should I post a useful plug-in (that Milkbox is)? Just tell me, I'll do it..

Oh, I assumed you were just posting news that this was released, not that you made it. I apologize.

To PM a mod, just look for an online mod (a user whose name is bold on the active users list on the bottom of the front page of the forum) and then privately message them from their profile page.

last i checked DDD and nobody weren't the only mods ...

the milkbox is pretty nice, my biggest beef with it is that it just looks like lightbox. sure it has that added functionality to it, but the transitions + default styling are still ... well ... lightbox, and that's getting old quick. I know that it's stylable but it'd be better to present it as something different to make it stand out from the rest.
