Been meaning to get this out for ages! But alas, I’ve been totally snowed under with work, and the fact that I’m all about the as3 now I’ve realised I’m never going to go through it and refine it and comment it for the community… so you’re getting it as it is. Anyway, it’s a xml editor (so no mysql) with a file manager so you can upload files, rename and preview them etc - It’s been used on quite a few clients sites of mine, although nothing too heavy mind you, leave that for the database powered stuff (although I have converted this to power mysql db’s pretty easily)… Anyway, hope it helps anyone

Ah, sorry about that, I completely meant to add the flash 8 sources but I've been so busy recently, but they've been updated! - enjoy!

Pretty nice and slick interface, and a hell of a lot of work to share for free!

A few little bugs here and there. I tried to rename a file, and the dialogue box got stuck after I clicked Ok.

When using the text editor, if you convert the last word of a sentence to URL, then that URL is applied to all the text you enter after that. To get around it, insert a space with no AHREF after the URL.

Did you make that text editor yourself?

Anyway, super nice work!

Hey dail thanks for the kind words...

Yeah, I built that in about a week for a client early last year and I had it lying around doing nothing (shortly after that I went AS3 (with, may I add a lot of help from your own classes)) so I thought it might as well help the community...

It is full of bugs and the code is terrible, but I've had so much work on I've had no time to clean it up... But I am thinking of releasing an as3 version I built a few months past which has since been relegated to the unused pile also as I've built an even better version ;)

Ha! No worries... no need to bugger though ;) - I've been really busy with client work recently, but it's still on my mind - it's just keeps getting moved to the back of the pile...

Saying that I have a prototype version which is just all code on the timeline (quick and dirty)... I might look through that and release it.
