ive seen it somewhere before but i dont know where... i dont know the math to have a mc rotate around a central point by constricting to an arc... can someone help me please

sorry nevermind... i got the fla but there is really no explanation and its really confusing... can anybody recommend a better tute on it? or a different method of achieving it? i have a circle and i want a mc to follow around the edge depending on the mouse position relative to the center of the circle... if that helps any... any help appreciated...

Check the Best of Kirupa or the Best of Senocular, there should be something about angles :)

thanks but i figured out a way to do it... i had some old fla's with some angle of mouse to a point code in it... i havent taken trig yet (next year im takin precalc) so i will learn all this stuff for good (hopefully ;)) thanks
