It's good, but I'm not sure why the top background isn't smooth. It has two horizontal lines running through it where the pattern doesn't match up. I think those detract slightly from the layout.

Seconded. I think you'll start finding people wondering where they have seen that twitter bird before.

I think you need some more contrast, and areas of less saturated blue for readability!

Cool Beans!

Here are my beefs:
- Personally the blue is a bit too rich for me... (like on the bottom) the lighter one is pretty chill.
- Logo looks sweeet! But it doesn't really have the same look and feel as the site (more web 2.0)
- Play around with the fonts as well they look a bit off.

Other than that I like the minimalistic approach, but it could be executed a bit better
